Killer Keto Cloud Bread

Updated: Nov 11, 2018

Whether you love to #eathealthy and #diet or are just being dragged along by someone else, this recipe is for you. Why? Because most diet food is disgusting, let's be honest. And most of us are looking for recipes that tastes as much like the real deal as possible, or at the very least ones that don't interfere with the flavors that we are still allowed to have. This little piece of heaven here does just that, and is an absolute staple for anyone on the low-carb or #Ketodiet.

Disclamier: I've never dieted before. Ever. I've never been disciplined enough to follow a regimen like Adkins, Paleo, etc. Until the Keto diet. And it's no trend. It's been around for over 30 years, and it's here to stay.

4 simple ingredients

• Grade A large eggs 3

• Cream cheese 3 Tbsp

• Cream of tartar 1/4 tsp

• Stevia 1 g or 1 pack

15 min. of simple prep

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  2. Separate the eggs very carefully, ensuring there is no yolk in the white.

  3. In one bowl, mix together the egg yolks, the 3 Tbsp of cream cheese and the 1 packet or 1 g of Stevia until smooth.

  4. In the other bowl add 1/4 tsp of cream of tartar to the whites and beat the whites on high speed until they form peaks.

  5. Very carefully fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites until mixed.

  6. Either spray your cookie sheet down with non-stick spray, or use parchment paper.

  7. With a large spoon, make 6 even rounds on the sheets (about the size of a large hamburger bun; roughly 3/4 inch thick and 4 to 5 inches across).

30 min. to cook and cool

  1. Bake for 25-30 min, only removing them once they are golden brown.

  2. Remove from the pans and cool on a rack or cutting board. Allow 5 min. to cool.
